Turn Tree Branches Into Jewelry Display

What is better than using materials found in your own backyard and transforming them into something you can use in your home? Below I will explain the process of turning a tree branch into a jewelry display that I use at vendor fairs and in my home.

I am obsessed with wood. Branches, trees, bark, limbs. Anything I can make out of trees, I do. I have made picture frames, pictures for my home, clothing racks, and much more with using basic natural ingredients. We all know limbs can be delicate at best. They easily break, shred, and dry rot. In this case, the limb was previously burnt so it was fragile, but I loved the shape.

Not only am I obsessed with wood, but I have also started using plaster, joint compound, and other tile set options to enhance my painting projects, home decor, pictures, and now jewelry displays!

First, I found a few branches that I loved and decided I wanted to use them to display some of my rings. But the branch itself was so brittle. I thought, “what if I put tile set on it?” I went out to test the theory. I started with a small branch, put the tile set in my hand and started rubbing on the branch. Within hours it had began to harden. By the next day I had a tree branch but it was hard as a rock! I now had a jewelry display for my rings that was used from the form of a tree branch.

This opened up so many possibilities of what I could use tile set for. For now, I have used for multiple tree branches and terracotta vases for added texture, but the possibilities are endless!

The affiliate link below is the exact tile set I used for this project. I cannot wait to try it again!

I love how it turned out!
