DIY Aromatherapy Packs

Do you need to destress and relax? Make yourself an Aromatherapy pack you can grab each time you need some “me” time. These are very affordable to make and the best part is you KNOW what is in it. I have made a few different scents including Lavender Oatmeal, Eucalyptus Mint, & Coconut. The ingredients vary slightly depending on the scent.

Each pack includes Epsom Salt, Himalayan Pink Salt, Oats, Dried Flower Petals, and Coconut Milk Powder. You can keep the oats out if you have an oat allergy. You can also add essential oils, coconut oil, or leave out one of the ingredients we add in. Some do not like to add in oats and some prefer to leave out the petals.

If you pour the mixture straight into your bath, I would make sure the petals are crushed or leave the petals out all together. When I use petals I like to put them in a soaking bag that allows all the scents to come through, the salt to dissolve, but no mess to clean up.

We make a variety of bath salts and bath teas, depending on your preference may be the one you choose. Bath salts go directly into the bath while bath teas are in a soaking bag and usually include oats, where as, salts do not include oats.

For the bath salts, I like to put them in a little decorate jar with a mini spoon to scoop out the salt when I want to add some to my bath water. I have also put them in tubes to just pour out when needed. These can be as small or large as you like.

Bath Tea Recipe: 1 cup of oats, 1 cup of Epsom Salt (you can use a scented one or plain), 1/2 cup of Himalayan Pink Salt, 1 cup of dried flower petals (roses, lavender, chamomile are all great ones), 1 tablespoon of Coconut Milk Powder. Add a few drops of essential oils as needed for scent. I usually keep essential oils out of the tea due to the oats and not wanting it to get damp.

Bath Salt Recipe: 1 cup of Epsom Salt, 1/2 cup of Himalayan Pink Salt, 1/2 cup of crushed flower petals (or leave out), 1 tablespoon, Coconut Milk Powder, and add in essential oils as needed for scent.
