DIY Photo Board

Want an easy DIY for wall décor or photo board? You can make this in 10 minutes! Grab some wood, canvas board, or material of choice and some plaster or tile set or joint compound and get to work!

Step 1: Get the product you want to work with. Do you prefer a wood board? Want something easy like a flat canvas board? You can also get creative and grab something unexpected like an old picture in a picture frame.

Step 2: Get the material you want to use with it. This can be plaster, tile set, stucco, joint compound, spackling. All give similar but different textures and colors. I used spackling for this particular project. It is a bit softer than tile set which dries hard and sturdy. I prefer tile set more for vases to help keep them sturdy. Spackling works well for a softer look for your wall or photo boards.

Step 3: Scoop with your hands and rub the material all over the board you chose to work with and let it dry. I would let it dry over night and then you have a perfect wall décor item or photo prop! I personally love to put tile set or spackling all over terracotta pots and vases to give a French country vibe to my home décor items.
