Porch Update: Faux Olive Tree

I have been wanting to redo my back porch for quite some time now. I just wasn’t sure where I wanted to start. Having small kids it was filled with toys and basically just other junk. It is a huge outdoor space, so I wanted to really focus on it and take advantage of it. I used to have some ivy on an old stool in the corners around the fireplace. I loved the look of the added green but the shedding of the leaves and maintenance seemed to take more than I could give having two small ones at this time.

I decided to look into faux olive trees as I have a real one and love it, but I know it couldn’t stay on our back porch due to the lighting. I was skeptical about ordering one because I didn’t want it to look fake. I found one on Amazon that I am in love with! It enhances the space and I finally have my pop of green that I wanted on our back porch. It gives it a natural earthy vibe which I am here for. I decided to also make it taller by putting it into a basket with height and adding moss on the top! It turned out so cute and I have had multiple compliments on it. What should I tackle next? Possibly, the kids bathroom? Might wait on that.
